From the time David J. Mintz graduated from Denver College of Law in 1980 he knew he wanted to help people in their claims against corporations and insurance companies.

Since 1980, for twenty-eight years, David J. Mintz has represented thousands of people against the interests of big companies, such as insurance companies. He has put together a staff of lawyers and paralegals at the Mintz Law Firm that all believe in the same philosophy - that is getting people generous compensation for their injuries is the most important thing, more so than the insurance company’s bottom line.

David lives in Clear Creek County, Colorado, and represents many folks in the mountain community. A large part of his practice is generated by referrals of previous clients who believe they got great results and were treated with great respect by the firm, and that the firm “shot straight” with them.

David has interests in martial arts and motorcycle riding. He has represented many clients injured on their motorcycles. He has always wanted to go the extra mile for his clients. He oversees the running of the Mintz Law Firm and if there is an issue with respect to a client’s satisfaction, he tries to make sure that the firm does the right thing.

Brian leads an active Colorado lifestyle. He works hard and fights for his client’s interests. He is focused on all aspects of his client’s situation and strives to get justice for the wrong done and then money to compensate for the wrong. Although many cases settle quickly, Brian will take your case to trial if justice requires it.

Brian lives in Lakewood, Colorado, near the office. He is able to make time to meet with clients at their homes or at the office on weekends or evenings. As a result, he strives to make the legal services of the firm both rewarding and convenient for clients.

In addition to working hard, Brian plays hard. He rides his road bicycle and mountain bike whenever he can. He even commutes by bike to work when he can. Brian also skis and runs on a regular basis as being healthy is more than a state of mind.

Combining his interests for justice and bicycling, Brian handles bicycle accident injury law cases.

Eric Staton has been with the Mintz Law Firm, LLC since March 2005, and has been an attorney since 1999.

Outside of the office, Eric enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the theatre, and playing roller hockey. He and his wife spend one night a week performing community service.

Eric focuses his legal practice on personal injury, Social Security disability, and workers’ compensation matters.

Eric began representing injury victims for the Mintz Law Firm in May 2007. Prior to joining the Mintz team, he worked at a national law firm based in Cleveland, Ohio as a trial attorney for several big insurance companies. He now uses those tactics and trial strategies on behalf of his injury clients.

Eric is committed to 100% client satisfaction and doing everything possible to put his clients on the road to physical, mental, and financial recovery. He currently specializes in the practice of serious personal injuring including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and dog bites. While a majority of Eric’s cases settle out of court quickly, he enjoys the battle of trial and has the trial experience to be an effective litigation advocate on behalf of his clients.

When Eric is not representing the rights of injury victims in Ohio and Colorado, he spends his time being an active husband to his wife Danielle and father to his twin boys Andrew and Ethan. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, backpacking, and camping. He lives with his family and dog Hunter in Boulder, Colorado.

Jodie L. Renk has an interesting background in personal injury law. Prior to attending law school she worked as a paralegal for a high-profile law firm that specialized in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. She was also employed by an insurance company as a litigation representative which has been beneficial in understanding the philosophy and tactics that are utilized by these companies when negotiating personal injury claims.

She is passionate about the opportunity to help those who have been injured and is devoted to making sure her clients are justly compensated.

She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Wisconsin and is a member of both the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. She lives in Centennial, Colorado with the two loves of her life; her black Lab, Maddie, and her German Shepherd, Chester, who forever remain an immense source of support and pleasure.
